Made you look!! I was given orders by Mr. Smitty to post this thread for those interested.. He has been so gracious to lend me his garage for a turbo build and figured it would also be a great time to have a mini weekend meet with good people... It is like a housewarming/major mod day for me and my turbo build that I have been so anxious about... Here are the details..

I will most likely start Friday night soon as i get off of work..

What: Helping me with my turbo build, hanging out with NELOC folks, 2 xbox systems, big tv's, good food, and a weekend of quality time with fellow car enthusiasts and fanatics... For those that would like to contribute their knowledge, experience, tools, and a helping hand, this would be the place for it...

Things I have done for preparation..
Weekend of 16th.. Tranny sprags, valve body, and torque converter upgrade done @ SRT.
Weekend of 24th.. Headgasket, timing belt, 90k servicing... Some intercooler piping mock-up fun and maybe welding done at ISP since I dont know anyone that can do aluminum welding...
Scheduled event weekend.. oil feed, return, manifold bolt on, turbo, intercooler bolting, spark plug change, down pipe, meth injection, gauge install (UEGO and boost gauge), Fuel return, fuel pump, regulator and gauge, mid pipe will most likely be done at a shop, and finally, street aem tuning!!

Since people were willing to use this as an excuse to come check out Smitty's house, we figured it would be good to extend the invitation to all other Neloc family members to join us.. Hopefully he gets a grill so I can get that hawaiian sea salt ribeye cookin.. if not, i can cook up all sorts of other ****.. and there will be plenty of alcohol on deck, of course for down time.. If you got any question, pm either me or smitty.. This will be a good way to kickoff 09!!!

if its ok, i might be interested in coming down to get away from my reality here in NJ. i could probably lend a hand in the build if needed as well, i have a turbo'd is300 that i did a lot work with myself.

Should be a pretty fun time helping Al get the GS boosted. Any help from the NELOC fam will be great. I know we got plenty of turbo experts in NELOC (GSoup, RisingSun, Cherplex, ect...) so come on out if you have time. Maybe we can hit up Rt. 50 for a quick run or two.
