WOW Is this so... When did this law pass?
Now I have to think twice in getting my tints darker
About a year ago, I've been ticketed twice for rear windows by the same a-hole cop in my neighborhood. Even when I was rolling with the front ones down. He pulls me over and tells me to roll up the fronts I ask him what he pulled me over for? He states the rear windows and I tell him that I plead the fifth ticket what you seen. So he gives me 2 for each of the rears and tells me that he took it easy on me because he didnt ticket the small rear windows cause that is a separate ticket.
And I'd better be careful driving around the DC area over the next couple of weeks - they'll need funds to help pay for the Inauguration Ceremony.
I can feel the harassment... in Northern VA cops would cross me on the road, notice that i don't have a front plate and darker tint make a violent U-turn only to find a non-VA plate and leave me alone
Bear in mind that rear window tint in NY is now illegal as well unless you have a station wagon or Jeep.
Since when this took effect?

Hmm, I thought NYPD could still pull you over even if you have out of state tags. However I've not yet been pulled over for my tints when I head up to NYC but I do have Delaware tags though.
