Inauguration Overview 1/20/09 - Yes We Can
Hello My Fellow Neloc Family,
The ghost of Scarlet has returned...lol I thought I share with everyone the pics that my brother and cousins took while we were out at the Inauguration. It was truly an amazing expereience and still can't believe the crowds. Enjoy the pics!

Luv2xl - It was frigid cold but made the best of it. Trust me I was layered up!!!
LexGrl702 - I hope to meet you too! Love to see another female in the crew :-) Maybe I can get out to College Park tomorrow night.
Apex - Yeah I heard 1.8 mil on the mall and not sure how many for the parade.

Yeah, I heard the cold was brutal. They had first aid tents set up everywhere. But every thing went smooth. It just shows how loved Obama is and how he is able to unite our country.
Definitely try and make it tomorrow, looks like a good turn out already.

Yes, I was there, working a small job passing out flyers. Absolutly crazy, went to my nearest metro at 6 am and did not get into DC until 10 am! Just a unforgettable experince, glad to see you were apart of it.

i was there in the blue section!! IT WAS PANDEMONIUM!!! luckily my house was 2 blocks from the capitol so i got to go home and cook up some steaks and salmon for some guests.. it was a pretty powerful moment and i was thankful to be a part of the masses on that historical day.. i got some pics to show too!!

Beez43 - You were one of the FORTUNATE people who lived in the city and didn't have to walk in the masses to get on Metro. I swore we walked from the Mall to Chinatown just to catch a train. But SO WORTH IT :-)

I did that on purpose to see if you would catch it since you always make it a point to bust chops when people do that.. LMAO
