Hey Neloc,

Its not often that I post events on this board as I know I live very far away from everyone, but my friends and I have organized a car show to raise funds for a local boy that need our help.

Daniel Yara is battling Pulmonary Fibrosis and is in need of a double lung transplant. His story can be found here. http://www.cotafordaniely.com/


I know times are tough right now and lots of us dont have extra money like we use to, even if you dont have extra funds to donate and have some time please try to come down and support the show to draw in the crowd to try to get them to donate.

If I am able to make it down, then I would like to attend. Ls still needs some road manners. Joe I will PM you concerning this and maybe for those who can't go but would still like to pitch in, maybe we can set up some kind of donation fund.

the sears that is sponsoring the event is an outlet/service center. its very close to greenbrier mall anddthere are a few hotel close by. i recomment the loft hotel. its usually goes for around $99 a night. its a little bit modern but has a nice bar lounge area in the front with a pool table and large sitting area. rooms are just a king size bed 40" lcd tv, desk and a bath room with shower, but we wont be in our rooms much cuz well be out partying!!! lol. if that a litte much for people coming down there are red roof inns and the like also.

anyone needing help finding a room or anything let me know. we we have a big enough group going i can try to see if we can get a bulk room discount somewhere.

Thanks for clearing that up. I am good for lodging.. that is my 3rd home. I love the Hampton Roads area and everyone else will to. This should be fun...

I will at least attend the event, question- How early on saturday morning do you have to be there to show your car?

show is from 10-4. we ask anyone who is going to show to be there at 8:30 to give you time to prep you car for judging.

if your really wanting to compete in the show please let me know how late you will be. (dont be showing up at like 3:30 lol) and ill see what i can do to stretch the time for Neloc members. I will be there helping to set things up earlier than that and i am working on a special place at the event for Neloc i just need to know how much space to section off.

of course i will not be competing in the show. i am there for the cause.
