New member of the family.
The guy I got it from was practically giving it away.
It needs a good amount of TLC, but nothing I can't handle.
I wouldn't be surprised if someone on Club Lexus owned it sometime in its extremely long life (275k!! but runs so good).
I think it was modded at some point and then "returned to stock" and then neglected for a while.
I'm gonna do a simple restore job on this one

Definately wont be ready for Carlisle 2009, but 2010.. very possible.
Gotta keep the miles off my red one somehow.

thanks guys, its a 300. definitely gonna be a fun project.

It needs new leather on the front seats and im putting my old prime steering wheel on this one, the passenger door doesn't open (I've fixed this problem on my first SC, the little clip gets old and breaks).
Its got a small dent on the drivers side rear quarter way at the bottom, shouldn't be too hard to fix, may have to take it to a body shop or if anyones good with that stuff please let me know.
Already hit up Aliga for newer seats and some other parts I need to make it look new.

Mechanically its pretty sound, its got new suspension, engine pulls hard, trac still works and heated seats.
Actually passed emissions alot better than my 95 with half the miles. I need to see if its the original 2jz in there if i can find the vin on the block.
The cluster led's and climate control were swapped to blue LED's but a good number of them are out so ill have to replace those.

Basically got tired of Daily driving in my other SC, cause even though its dependable, driving a 6 puck clutch everyday starts to beat on your body and mind.

Nice find Ali.

An automatic daily-beater is a very good idea around here. A stick is great at the track; not so much in traffic!

Good luck with it. Let me know when you want to stick a CarPC in it and we'll talk!

I have the act one with extreme pp. I think its a little too stong for the strock transmission.

Already washed the car and fixed the door, put on my wheels with better tires.
Replaced the shift **** for a black one, and cleaning random stuff.

Do the gated shifter. Get rid of that shifter.....I don't know if I'm allowed to call it what all the other SC guys call it, but you know what I mean. I know I haven't talked to you in a while Ali, but how much power you pushin now? Still having any problems?

haha you mean the Dil**matic shifter. Yeah, if I get a good deal on a gated perhaps, but I'm a pretty big guy and I like the feel of the large shifter (sounds so wrong). I did see a thread where someone made it like the BMW autos, where it still looks like a manual boot and ****, but still automatic.

Yeah its been a while, did you salvage any part of that exhaust, it was in pretty bad shape last i saw it. I'm still pushing like 9psi on the stock motor, no problems except running out of fuel in 4th, but other than that I fixed a few things and the SAFC works pretty well now. I bought some rx7 550's and am sending them out for cleaning. as soon as they get back they will be installed along with the aem and i will get it tuned. Until it hits the tuners dyno, I don't know what power im making, but my butt dyno says easily over 300.

im kinda down cause i tried to change the acessory belt on the green SC, and the old one was hard to take off and the new one is impossible to squeeze on.
Im starting to wonder that one of these pulleys has been changed or something cause this is the second new belt ive tried.

Congrats on another SC, loks very nice so far. I know why there are so addicting, the style is just timeless. I hope maybe to get one in the very near future as a extra car to have fun with.
