New Pix of my Sexy Lexy!!
Went out today to take a couple pix.
Car is dirty and I didn't have anyone to help take pix so I just took two or 3 pix.
Well here is the finished product, when I got back into the car I realized I forgot to turn my lights on for the pic.
Oh well, I'll do a real shoot sometime when I get my baby modded a bit more.
Got new EBC drilled/slotted rotors arriving any day now.
Pic of my new wheels!!!!
FOR BEING DIRTY IT LOOKS PRETTY CLEAN RIGHT??? GOTTA LOVE WHITE CARS!!!
playing around, trying to plan ahead.
Can't decide the height I like best.
First = stock height
Second = about an inch
Third = crazy drop

I still have the old wheels, going to use them for winter wheels.
But the reason I decided to get these wheels.....
I hit a huge hole on I-76 a few weeks ago, really bad hole, made me almost cry when I hit the hole because I knew something was going to break.. And right before I hit the hole I just got 2 new tires put on $200 each... So anyways I start to notice the car shaking a little bit.. Then few days later I notice my tire is a little flatter than the others. Then eventually I have to refill the air in my one tire every day...... About 2 weeks after I hit the hole on I76, I'm driving down 76 again at around 3am. And I start to smell rubber!! Faintly at first then really strong smell.... Then the car starts VIBRATING BIG TIME!!! Whoa crap!! So I pull over and see that my BRAND NEW TIRE IS TOAST! Then I go in my truck to get my jack and spare tire... Spare tire is there... but NO JACK!!! ahhhh!!! So I start calling all of my friends, and my girl starts calling all of her friends at about 4am and everyone is asleep... So she stands on the side of 76 with cars flying by at 70+ mph trying to flag down someone to help us. Two guys stop to help her, but as soon as they realize that the cute asian girl has a boyfriend they take off and leave her!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA... Finally one guy doesn't run away and he lends us his car jack for all of 5 minutes and I have the spare tire on, ready to go. But it's flat... Oh well I'll drive on it to the next exit... Go to turn on the car... click click click... Dead battery!! Ahhhhh sheet I forgot to turn off the headlights and flashers for an hour + grrrr.... So the nice guy takes my gf to the next exit and gets some jumper cables and jumps my car. then he leaves and I drive to put air in my spare tire. When I put air in it the air just leaks right out.... ****! So the guy calls and asks if we are alright, by this time it's like 5:40am... She asks if he can come pick us up and take us home.. So he comes back and gets us. We get home at 7am! wow
The damage....
Black rim = Bend + crack all the way to the bead + ripped up tire. Basically the wheel and tire are a loss, beyond repairable.
Stock rim (spare) = 2 cracks! + tire no good.. Estimated cost to get new wheel = $250 + $200 for the tire so I just say screw it I'll get all new wheels. Maybe I'll replace the one black wheel in the fall before winter comes if I don't decide to just get stock IS wheels.
If anyone wants a cracked stock IS300 wheel let me know
=)

I just got more new wheels tonight.
Found a set (4) of Stock IS300 wheels painted white with tires for $200 online!!!!
Thought the wheels were going to be all smashed up and no tread left on the tires but when I saw them I was very suprised!!! Wheels are flawless! No bends, scrapes, cracks or anything!! And the tires have about 30% tread left for the back tires, and 90% tread for the front, and they're dunlap directional performance tires not pepboy's cheapo tires.
Oh and I talked the guy down a good bit from the $200 he was asking.... hehehe
Dunno what I'm going to do with 3 sets of wheels... ? Maybe I'll use these for winter wheels and my black wheels for something else?

Yep you are correct thanks
85mm is my favorite focal length (other than 200mm).
I also have the 1.8 version of this lens
My next lens is 200mm f/1.8L
I'm just trying to figure out how to come up with the $4500 before the weddings pick up!!
I think I'm going to sell my 70-200 f/2.8L IS for additional funds to purchase this beast!!!
$1500 if anyone's interested.....
Glad I didn't buy that 240sx. =)
