sorry to hear this ryan. i dont know how it feels to loose a parent but i could only imagine. be strong and stay up.

I don't know you but I deeply feel for you. I'm the oldest of my siblings and my father passed almost 4 years ago now when I was 19. Having to handle things like estates and wills along with supporting younger siblings and taking on a more responsible role is rough especially when you're broken up inside.

The best advice has been said on here many times already, don't shut yourself away, remember the good times even if they bring tears. Its been 4 years for me now, and while I can laugh now, and enjoy life, if a song comes on the radio that reminds me of him or any event, joke, item, or special occasion we shared comes up, the hurt and longing are still there. but I think thats a good thing. as long as we can remember them for the shining example of the loving person they were, of the love we have for them, they live on.
