...even though I own a GTO instead of a lexus?



Hey, I'm Mike, or as everybody knows me, Fish. I live in central NJ and one of my good friends always tells me how hes always meeting some great people from here, so I figured I would swing by and make a few friends myself.

I don't own a lexus... never have.... but I've always loved the car's classiness. Luxury combined with Japanese reliability? Sounds like a recipe for awesomeness if you ask me.

I do, however, own a 2005 Pontiac GTO. I don't have a whole lot done to it, mostly for financial reasons... but I love that car to death. Best bang for the buck I've ever gotten.

I have a couple other toys... a 95 Chevy Blazer which I consider my work truck, and a 2001 Kawasaki ZRX1200R which I consider... well..... peppy.

Anyways, I'm going to try to make it out to a few of your meets with my friend (Lexatlast). If I do anything stupid, feel free to let it affect his reputation.

 

so... I just looked at the NELOC sticky at the top of pics of members' rides... and.... WOW there are some absolutely beautiful cars on here.... now I REALLY want to head out to a meet.

 

Let me be the first to welcome you to the club. GTOs are nice. I love the G8 too. One day you will step up to the lex. And don't be surprised the some of the IS and boost boys start ribbing you.

and fish is my nickname, ls2fish is my common forum name... and I was too lazy to make up a different sig pic, so I just went with ls2fish again haha

 

I've always loved the IS line (IS vert ftmfw) and I used to have a FI car myself. Before the gto, I had an 04 SRT4 which was awesome, loved the pinned-in-your-seat experience it gave me... but I spent too much time around a bunch of gto and F-Body people, so I sold it and bought the goat.

nice to see you made it in here if you actually feel like coming to some of these meets with me i'd make the trips to the philly and MD ones from time to time. it sucks that all you guys own everything but lexi...

start doing what i did, organize meets closer to where you live. the whole otb show started when i asked a few people if they wanted to just meet up and eat there one night.

Welcome, I love GTO's, best bang for the buck out there(2005-06 =400hp stock!), I really want to get one soon as a second fun car , in addition to the IS300. So come pop into our meets and in return maybe I can pop into a GTO meet.

Hell yea! It was one of the deciding factors in getting mine. It really is an absolutely awesome car to own and drive. I can't take it out without it putting a big 'ol smile on my face.
