1) How does one remove the wiring harness from the firewall end of the engine on the driver's side?

2) What size are the stock injectors for the 1993 SC300? 440cc? Smaller?

Thanks in advance,
Wade

My 01 LS430 has what appears to be a whine in the power steering pump when the car is COLD and after it warms up, it is barely noticeable. When I move the steering wheel from right to left it will make more noise or when I hit the gas pedal at idle you can hear the whine (only when cold). The fluid level is fine and the fluid was changed about a year ago. Can I keep driving the car this way or will there be an eventual failure? The steering always feels fine with no issues. Any feedback would be appreciated.

P0172&p0175

Crazy part is the TCS/VSC/CEL turn themselves off sometimes after I turn the car back on and sometimes not.

Hey Tach, I have a 2000 GS300 with about 110,000 miles on the odometer.

My front-right suspension makes an awful noise whenever I turn the wheel to the left and sometimes when I turn it to the right. It sounds like a rubbing mixed with squeaking. What could be the source of this noise? I thought it could have been sticky brake pads, but it seems to only be happening when I turn the wheel.

Thanks!

I have not seen Tach on this site for quite some time. Is he still contributing to this forum? He was super helpful and it would be a great loss if he left. Anyone know of his whereabouts?

98 Gs400 with 2jzgte swap, Airbag light came on, went off and then came on again. Now on constantly, want to take it to the dealer but not sure if there is a separate scanner for the SRS system?

I just bought a 95 es300. It cranks wont start. Don't have any codes present. I still need to go through all of the fuses and relays. Im getting started on it tomorrow. And the gear shifter will not move from the park position unless I push the release button. I've kindof narrowed that down to the brake switch, but what really confuses me is when it is in Park it shows Reverse on the instrament panel. Any ideas?

I need some help, in my 2008 is350, my climate control dash not working, the buttons for controlling the climate are not responding, the LCD screen i can see that it lights up ( it has power going to it), but it doesn't display anything. I though it was my climate unit that went bad, so one of my friends let me take his unit off and put in on mines to see if it was a defected unit. But still I ran into the same problem, the buttons are not responding and lcd screen not displaying anything. i checked the fuses under the dash on passenger side, ACC fuse and ECU-IG fuse, both seem to be good. don't know what else to do. call dealership told them exactly what i just wrote^^^ and they said bring the car in. I'm not trying to spend a fortune trying to fix this. any help please i highly will appreciate it. thanks

I guess this is where I ask my questions... So, my Tire pressure light came along with the Check Engine light. I checked tires' pressure (good!) still there... notice it flashes for quite some time then it becomes steady! When I had a flat tire last summer (2010) it was steady always... Any thoughts?

I just recently had my alternator replace.

during the install the mechanic helper in jump starting the vehicle using a booster box connected the negative to the positive and vice versa.

since then, to start the vehicle you must jump it to do so.

the battery has been replaced and the alternator shows it is charging correctly.

the vehicle starts with a jump on the first attempt.

so it seems that the auto now needs additional amps to start.

has anyone encountered a similar issue with starting?

is this a starter or a fuse issue?

any assistance in the right direction would be appreciated.

I have a ES300 2001 I only have the master key ( no buttons) when I purchased the car from the last owners and they did not have any other remote. I would like to get some info if I purchase a key from ebay (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/400258031...84.m1423.l2649) how would I program the keyless entry remote? Lexus in Oz has quoted $350 for new key remote and $900 to flash the program for new remote?

Thanks all,
