It is what it is I know your pretty knowlegable when it come to this stuff and might not be the healthiest thing to do to the car but its my toy I have a 07 ford pick up as my beater that i drive to and from work the lex is just a toy I like 22s they re only 1.5inches larger in diameter than the factory wheel
No worries.....I look at modifications in a different light. I look for balance and overall fitment in any car. The largest I ran, and the largest that looks balanced on a 2nd Gen IS are 19's. Similiarly, 20's are the largest that look balanced on a GS. I would only run 22's on an LS460, but that's just me. Part of it is personal taste, and part of it is 15 years of modding import luxury cars.....and a lot of influence from the VIP scene.
It's your car, your money, so mod accordingly....

i didn't know you already had put that much effort into the lowering and shaving of fender inside parts and what not. i wonder what it would have looked like without being lowered . how much do you think you lowered it thus far? also what size tires are you running front and rear, just curious. i bet it floats down the highway, but how is the city driving in it? u notice a big hit to your mpg's yet. don't forget to reset your ecu (unhook negative battery terminal for 30+ mins)(it works like gangbusters trust me).

i actually say a real sick looking one (3rd gen gs) on 21's but i think it was also on air. any howzer it looked ill and made me wanna go back to a gs. the new ls's do look good on 22's but its such a big car too. i think 20's give the 3gs a sporty look and 21's that gangstar ballin look, but only if dropped properly.

25 series in the rear is what i used to rock on my old 20's. it sure skated down the highways but not so fun driving in and around baltimore.
come out to the next meet and meet up with a few folks. i want to check out ur 22's in real life. they look nice.

car looks really good, i think u pulled off the 22s very well.
22's r a love it or hate it kinda thing imo, cant make every1 happy haha, i had the same responses when i had my 22s on (my sig shows). dont regret doing it one bit. the responses i would get while driving, at a light or parked was priceless. it would often b a "damnn thats sick, how did u get em 2 fit?"
