Default Window tint/ NJ State

Hello all,

I noticed a few NJ GS, LS specifically with tinted windows all around. What are these people doing for inspections?

I know the front driver and passenger is not allowed to be tinted at all.

Looks really nice though.

Thanks

Forgot to clarify.

I'm not going for a dark dark limo tint, probably something 30 or 35. Just trying to get a bit of privacy.

I know front is illegal in Jersey, so are people ripping them off prior to inspection and then re-installing?

Usually most people just tip the guy doing the inspection or have a friend do it. Than they look the other way.

This past August I had to get my car inspected. The tint shop that originally put on my tints removes it off my front windows for free so that I can pass inspection. Later that day I passed inspection and went back to the shop to get the tints put back on.

I wish I had that luxury.

I live in NYC and here at inspection time they never care about tints. Only cops give me a hassle.
