Default Anyone in the NoVA area have a LS430 with Datasystems for wheel test fit?

Hey guys,

Does anyone near Northern Virginia area have an LS430 with a Datasystems controller that is willing to let me test fit my SSR SP1s on their car?

I have a buyer interested, but he'd like to know if they fit a 430 when lowered.

Best way to reach me is via email: hungwinjza80 at gmail dot com

Thanks,

Hung

i had the controller on my 05 ls430 but sold it after my air susp went out. i am now lowered even more on some coilovers... just put up the specs of the wheels, tires, and offsets and i should be able to say yes or no but if its close i will check the 430 boards...

sojah - thanks for replying.

Front = 19x9.0 +31 with 245/35/19
Rear = 19x10.0 +43 with 275/30/19

I checked in the LS430 subforum, but wasn't able to find a definitive answer... There are some close fitments, but nothing exactly the same as this. I'm confident the rears are good, the fronts might be pushing it...

i was going to say the exact opposite so combined we are both confident then

i was gonna say worst case scenario he would need to roll the rear fenders to tuck and when he puts the controller on full down mode (L).

but the front should be fine since these are 19's and just with the controller the car won't exactly tuck. if he has the 04-06 model ls like mines on the controller with that size tire the car should sit right on top of the tire leaving like a 1 finger gap but if he is also running the youzealand ss kit like i had then he should be at 0 fingers gap then depending on how aggressive the offset is it might rub occasionally on sharp turn in's when going into driveways and such things. i had to take out the little black fender liner piece that is only held on by like 3 screws and takes a 5 year old all of about 1 minute to do.

i am running front 19x8.5 rear 19x10, front 245/35zr19 offset 36, rear 275/30zr19 offset 44 with more room to spare than i want plus a 5mm spacer in rear with about 5mm more free space. and no fender rolling, shaving, or pulling,, just removed the little plastic lip fender things.

If my calculations are right, my fronts would stick out 11.38 mm (~0.45), let's say 1/2-inch more than yours would.

I can't tell based on this pic if you have that room to spare in the front:

that pic is when i had the controller and on the lowest setting (for parking lot pimpin only). you can't drive it that low so when you raise it up say 2 inches or to about a 1-2 finger gap and remove the inside plastic fender lip liner thing you would have .5 inches. where in nova are you? i might be out there this weekend and we could test the fronts if you want.

i don't know about turning while driving over bumps or pulling into driveways with those fronts since i am pretty low right now on the coilovers but we shall see possibly.

just for reference i have 20x9 +20 up front. picked up a 5mm spacer to attempt a more flush fitment. could've used a 7mm if they made one....i will take a picture shortly.
tires are 235/30.

sojah, thanks for the feedback. I sent the prospective buyer the link to this thread, so we'll see if still wants a test fit... I'm in the Falls Church area.

ryan78 - I appreciate the info and look forward to the pics!!!
