ill be attending more meets next year hopefully... planning on a single turbo conversion on the supra soon

 

just my guess but this is prolly more of a tuner crowd/meet than a vip crowd/meet right?

 

exactly; we're not into that vip stuff.

 

you make it sound so dirty... i used to try to do both, then i realized that unless you have a lot of $$$ trying to do both will make you have only a little of both, now i try to pick one or the other in order to at least be good at one of them.

my coworker has a dynoed 585hp ish (real close to 600) evo and he swears he's a car guy but hates any car that is not a 1/4 mile all-star.

 

I personally am not into that stretch tire b.s; but that's just my opinion and let's not turn this thread into a debate. I love the way your car looks; you have tasteful mods, its the ugly **** that i'm not into; on other cars. I've extended this meet to the evo crowd, so feel free to tell your co-worker. Smitty sometimes shows up to our meet, so feel free to come if you please.

I will tell my evo friend, if he's down I guess I am too. I'm not crazy about stretched tires either, I tried a mild stretch once (for monetary reasons not for super awesome fitment) and I felt way paranoid for like 6 weeks until I got new wider tires.
