DMV: Anyone have a WORKING OBD1 MAF for an SC300 I can borrow?
Hey guys my 92 sc300 has been acting up ever since I bought it. It has a slight misfire/hiccup at idle but runs normal all other times. I've already changed the spark plugs, wires, coil, cap and rotor and still nothing. I've searched for vacuum leaks but haven't found anything. Today, after changing my spark plug wires, I unplugged the MAF just to see if it would affect the car but unplugging it had to affect whatsoever. No idle changing, no stalling, not even a CEL. I was hoping I could borrow a MAF from someone just to see if that's what's causing my problems before I go and buy one.
Thanks,
Ray

The CEL light on my car never came on but I jumped the connectors just to see if there were any codes stored and sure enough i got an IAT sensor code. I borrowed a MAF from a friend of mine and it cleared the code and now no more misfire (knock on wood). The code is gone as well. I ordered a new/used MAF from 96sc so hopefully that'll come in soon and my car will be ok. Thanks!
