Shahryar, I'm due for an oil change also. I have the oil filter already, just need to buy oil. What brand oil are you using or whats a good oil to use? How many qaurts does our car need?

Hopefully we can get together on a Sunday because thats the only day i have off.

I have been using Mobil 1 and it seems many people use that too with our cars. I forget how many quarts our car needs - I want to say a little less than 7.

My IS 350 is now at just a little over 44k miles - my last oil change was at 32,901 miles and was done last October. I should change it asap. My last oil change I think I went almost 12k miles and iirc, I had a used oil analysis done and they said there were some impurities found in the oil. But if I had changed the filter before 10k I should have been finel - maybe could have even pushed the oil further.

I have the filter wrench we need (check out this thread ) and the blitz ramps and some oil filters. Just have to lock in the procedure to follow and see if there's anything else missing.

^Sunday 6/5 is good. I live in Pasadena not far from Laurel. I dont mind driving to your place, however there is one other member that wanted to roll his fenders, so figure we could combine and do everything at one time. Would mind driving to my place? If you cant thats ok, i can switch things around.

It's been a while. This sunday is 65 degrees and sunny. Anyone want to get together for maintenance? I need to take care of my oil change. I didn't change the oil filter in the middle of the interval like I planned to but hopefuly my oil is still good. I plan to collect it to send in for a UOA this time.

It's has been for a while since the last time i accessed ClubLexus. I just sold my beloving M3 and getting a big GX460. Time to get some mods with it.

Anyone want to get together sometime soon to do anything? I have brakes and rotors that need to be installed that I'm nervous to do on my own. Anyone ever done it?
