Default Please allow myself to introduce myself

Hey Im from Pittsburgh PA and have had a Lexus for about four years now. Im into anything car related shows but prefer the performance aspect. I was thinking about heading out to Carlisle this year but see your boycotting it?

Currently have an IS300T mild build. Im a cowboy looking for anything heavy.

Carlisle is being boycotted due to a number of factors; ricerfest being one of them. We had been appearing at Carlisle since 07 and have ALWAYS been one of the biggest crowd draws there as well as the largest group to appear(check NELOC HERITAGE THREAD FOR MORE INFO AND PICS). Last years display was a total abomination especially considering the poor organization and lack of respect for our group by the promoters. We normally roll in a MINIMUM of 50 cars and were always given an entire pavillion area to ourselves, however last year they thought it was ok to kill half of our space and put a graffiti art area in shared capacity. Think about it,,rattle cans on junk cars sharing the same air space(danger of overspray due to wind) as Very nicely modded Lexus vehicles. Unacceptable. Also, they outright lied and tried to offer excuses as to why this was done saying that they could not get hold of our key contact person for updates on our attendance even though they were updated once a week and had direct number to more than one contact person. Even the show itself had downgraded. Anytime you have cars with rattle canned paint jobs, going against fully painted and professionally done show cars (now only talking Lexus here) and WINNING over them; something is wrong. There were even cars there with the "UNIVERSAL ADHESIVE" clearly holding them together, winning over cars that were done the right way. NO!!! We'll see how the show play out this year, WITHOUT our attendance, however then REALLY need to get themselves back together and restructure that show so that it holds closer to it's name "STYLE and PERFORMANCE" if they EVER expect to woo our presence back there.
