Default Question painting headlights

Have a quick question for anyone thats done their headlights. I did my fogs, and when i sanded the chrome down i noticed that its clear plastic, are the headlight shrouds the same clear plastic underneath? Im doing mine tomorrow so a quick reply would be very helpful thanks!

I am not sure what part you are talking about but if you are referring to the chrome part that most people paint black this is not clear(do think anyway). You do not need to sand them that aggressively that you take them down to bare plastic. I did sand mine at all.
