My car got damaged by the hail storm! Need a shop!
I'm in the same boat as the other guys in the little neck, new hyde park area. My car got hit infront of my house in little neck. have about 20 dents in the hood, roof, and trunk. The problem is I have $1000 deductible with geico. Does anyone know any shops that are negotiable? So maybe I only have to pay half out of pocket or maybe even no money out of pocket?
TIA

i have usaa and did the math, and if you have like 1 deductible every 30 months it will pay for itself to lower your deductible. mines is $100 sorry to hear about ur damages. but i still think $1000 is cheaper than buying a new hood, fixing the roof, new trunk, and getting it repainted...

2 of the items if replacement + paint is needed will get you well near 1k already. what sucks is i believe insurance wont cover certain damages as well, they claim it as "act of god". i had a neighbors satellite dish fall 2 stories on my wifes car a few years back and left a nasty dent/scratches across the roof of her vehicle and thats the story i got from nypd + the insurance company. they came quoted and cut me a check for 1400.

I live by 495 and little neck pkwy by the community pool.
I'm gonna bring my car to Martino Auto Concepts in Glen Cove, NY. Geico is gonna look at the car this week.
Went to a few shops and they all said pretty much the entire car has to be painted over. MAC is the most professional one in terms of customer service and facility. They work on tons of exotics like Ferrari, Lambo, and a ****load of custom m3's on a day to day basis. So I have no doubt in my mind about having them paint match my pearl white 3 stage paint

if the dents aren't to bad, you might want to consider PDR, or painless dent repair. i just paid $900 for around 200 dents to be taken out of my ls 430. i removed the headliner, hood liner, and trunk liner myself though.
