Hurricane Irene Pictures
Hope everyone and their families are safe and okay.
Lets see some pictures of your neighborhood.
Fingers crossed so far there is no power outage or down trees just a few branches in my area in South Ozone Park, NY.
The wind is now packing a strong punch - I can feel the house shaking.

Not bad in northern NJ, just a few branches fell victim. One neighbor lost a tree, didn't hit anything though. Lines are down nearby but I have power. The usually tranquil brook in front of my house is a raging river, around 5-6' feet above normal. It's going over the walls on one side of the driveway. At least it's over and the sun will be out soon.
Hope everybody's ok.

the pre hurricane setup
starting to get windy a little
is that a leaf blowing around on the back deck???
front row vip seats to the hurricane
after the storm the next morning
looks like a few less kayaks after the storm ,, silly old people never taking care of their stuff
we got most of the sand back that we had lost during the last storm
better to tie it up than to be sorry i guess
at first the land line still worked after the power shut off,, kinda weird but i felt like i was having a flashback of the 80's
