FS: Super Clean '97 Ford Explorer XLT V8 AWD – Leather – Chicago Area
Time to sell my 2nd baby guys. I don't need 2 cars anymore. Here are the details:
1997 Explorer XLT 4-door 5.0 V8 AWD
136K miles
2nd owner - i've had it since Nov. '03
Cranberry Red w/ Tan Leather
JVC head unit w/ new Blaupunkt Transparent speakers all around
New Hornet Remote Starter & Alarm
Matching running boards w/ fender flares from front to back.
The paint is all original, glossy & in very good condition. I just clayed it today and will be waxing soon. Leather was just conditioned as well. Babied and pampered just like all of my cars. Full details by me at least twice a year. Interior is VERY clean.
Maintenance I’ve done to it lately that I can remember:
Front/Rear brakes w/ new rear rotors - 10K miles ago
Tune-up
Trans fluid/filter change
Fuel filter
Thermostat
Air filter
Evaporation Canister
Coolant
A/C completely replaced last year - blows ice cold.
New Goodyear Wrangler RT/S tires (installed on Dec. ‘05)
Only problem that I have found so far is the driver side rear door only opens from the outside. I think the child lock is stuck.
The engine/trans runs perfect.
