FS: BMW E36 325IS - 5Spd - 66K Miles - $4,700 - NYC
For Sale:
- 1992 BMW 325IS Coupe
- Mileage: 66,200 original miles
- Schwartz Black Exterior on Dove Grey Leather Interior
- 5 Speed Manual Transmission
- Sunroof
- Heated seats
- 18 button OBC: Check Controls OK
- Clean title: WBABF3319NEF36369
Located in Bayside, NY
For sale is a clean 2 owner 1992 325IS Coupe. This car is a blast to drive and would make a fantastic daily driver or project car for you weekend racers out there. Body is straight and has never been hit. The 189HP 2.5L inline 6 cylinder engine performs flawlessly and has been treated with Mobil 1 synthetic oil every 3K miles. The 5 spd transmission / clutch shifts smooth and effortlessly, Suspension is tight and responsive. Best of all, the car ONLY HAS 62K MILES!!!!! How often do you see a 2-owner 1992 BMW with such low miles?!?! The reason for selling is because we just purchased an SUV and do not really need 2 vehicles at this time.
Modifications (if you want to call them that)
- Clear Corners
- M3 Exhaust: slight increase in airflow and sounds awesome
- Black M3 Headliner
- 16in wheel from 1998 328IS
Maintenance:
New Radiator
New clutch slave cylinder
All Belts, Waterpump, and clutch replaced within last 20K miles
Background:
We purchased this car 2 years ago @ 61K miles from an older gentleman in Dix Hill, Long Island (NY suburbs) who was the original owner – this was his 3rd vehicle and used it solely for weekends with his wife (hence the extremely low miles). The car has been dealer maintained and we have extensive records to show the maintenance performed. Most of the major maintenance items have already been addressed: Timing / Accessory belts, Water Pump, Radiator etc…
The Bad:
- There is some paint fade on the two rear quarter panels – long story but fading is NOT THE RESULT OF AN ACCIDENT.
- Driver side door panel is experiencing some ‘lifting’ – common with this model BMW.
We are asking a $4,700 obo – serious buyers only.
