LS1 RX7 - Complete
Please email me at turbolexus@gmail.com as I rarely ever check this forum any longer since I sold my last turbo lexus about a year ago!
1993 Base model - 53k miles - $25000 OBO
I have bought 2 of these and have resold one of them so I know what the market will bare so don't think you will be able to bicker with me too much on the price as honestly the price won't come down much.
I bought this in July thinking I would use it a lot, but have probably only driven it 100 miles since getting it home. Seems kind of silly to have it just sitting around not getting much/any use. Don't really care if it sells but if someone is looking I would sell it.
Unlike basically every single LS1 swapped RX7 you see for sale this vehicle is DONE. Everything works and works properly. I drove this car home from Boston with zero problems getting near 30 MPG the whole way. Tires are good, brakes are good, interior is near flawless. This was not some 130k mile car someone bought after it had caught fire and then painted and swapped, this is a car that has actually been taken care of SINCE NEW. Exterior has some small rock chips (minimal) and no dings/scratches, etc.
Interior 9.5/10
Exterior 8.5-9.0/10
Drivetrain:
•Stock 2002 LS1 & T56 transmission pullout from a Camaro Z28
Stock Ls6 intake, cam and heads
Intake ducted to original oil cooler location
Pro 5.0 shifter with Cobra R shift ****
•Ls6 replacement clutch/pressure plate/flywheel/throwout bearing
•Hinson aluminum driveshaft
•Stock Rx7 rearend with 4:11 gears
Exhaust:
•Stock exhaust manifolds
•Dual Magnaflow catalytic converters
•Dual 2.5" exhaust
•Dual Magnaflow mufflers
Suspension:
•Stock all around
Cooling:
•Hinson radiator
Fuel:
•Stock pump and hard lines
•Corvette fuel filter/regulator
Exterior:
•R1 lip
•Rear spoiler
•Stock rims with new Bridgestone RE750 245/45R16’s
Interior:
•Center channel speaker dual gauge pod housing Defi D series coolant temperature and oil pressure gauges
Miscellaneous:
•Dakota digital SGI-8 speedometer correction unit
