Trying to sell my wife's Audi. We've had it about 2 1/2 years now and need something a little cheaper. Trying to get $10kobo, we owe 15k so I'll have to put my own money towards it at the end of sale.

The car is a 2002 Audi A6 with a 2.7t (v6 twin turbo) and 6 speed manual transmission. This car was hard to find with the 6 speed, I flew to Virginia to pick this car up and drove it down to FL. It currently has about 111,xxx miles. We just put new tires on the back and the front has newish tires. The front and rear brakes (rotors and pads) have been replaced this year as well as a rear wheel bearing. Has no issues right now and is barely being driven since my wife no longer works.

Car looks black in the pictures but it is a dark blue with black interior.
The engine/tranny setup is the same used in the S4 of the same year so performance parts are readily available, but this car is bone stock.

eeee....nice car man, not trying to hate but man, an 02 2.7t with 111k, and no warranty, might be tough to dump for 13k. Even in excellent shape here in the northeast they're seeing 10-11k at the most.

I understand the payoff deal, just trying to help you get er sold quicker and again, not trying to hate.

If someone is intrested and can link me a cheaper car that is similar I'll take that into consideration. Right now KBB says 14k for my car though so 13k is a good price for a rare-ish car in perfect condition.

Thanks for the advice, I keep telling my wife to wash it but she's lazy. I might wash n wax it this weekend coming up and take pictures again if need be.

I can't believe people are ridiculing the price when I see civics selling for $12k. This is an Audi that sold for $40k+ not too long ago. I paid $21k 2 1/2 years ago. I posted it on CL thinking I wouldnt get lowballed by Lexus owners but I guess the Honda.com people have joined new forums.

I saw a clean A8 the other day for $16K, those were loads more than 40K - Its not the Civic guys fault the Honda holds its value better, even though the Audi is a nicer car. BTW I hate Civics...

we're not hating on you, it's just how the value of the car changes with mileage and being out of warranty. Those civics selling for 12k are newer than 2001 with less than 50k miles on them. The guy above just listed off examples to you.

again, like i said before, i understand the payoff thing and you can obviously ask whatever you want for the car, but you're going to realize that on a car like this you're going to take a loss somewhere along the line.

If you don't like CL or the honesty that people have respectfully given you, then just don't bother posting.

i got 6000$ for my really Clean 2000 GS400, with 117k miles...i paid 23k almost 2.7 yrs ago...it still had tein suspension cs2 , Torque converter.strut bar new brages, i wanted to get rid of the car asap and get a SUV..so i did it ...i dont think people are low balling you ..they are being honest i am sure the car is rare and a 6 speed which is great and must be fun to drive ...Goodluck withe the sale
i would post it on Cars.com and autotrader and ebay you should be able to sell it quick

Anyways, the bank has agreed to settle for $12k as a pay off for the car. I am still going to put $2k towards it so its now at $10k firm.

$10,000 for this car is a steal I just dont want to pay for it anymore!
