Gosh! I just do not know where to start with you?
1.It's not a USDM type-r. It's a JDM one (Hence the 4X114 bolt pattern and the ITR wheels.
2.You are correct there (only JDM ITR's come with RED Honda emblems that kinda why mine has one on it from the factory)
3. Since it is a REAL JDM ITR it does start with DC2 and ends with 1206208 (as in the VIN for the car is the orginal 12 digit chassi code from the factory in a little place I like to JAPAN!!)

5. You are an IDIOT! USDM are 5 lug, 96 spec JDM ITR's are 4 lug, 98 spec JDM ITR's are 5 lug, and so are CDM ITR's.
6.USDM never have and never will come with JDM front ends.
7.JDM and CDM (Canadian Domestic Market) come with red front seats. JDM are RECARO's
Never at anytime was this listed as a conversion. Please, oh please keep your insight to yourself.
On your last little tid bit of info about the S2K conversion, if that is what gets you off then by all means please do so.

Macd is correct. The driver's side bumper inlay was cut out at some point for a air induction piece (J's Racing makes one).
However the bumper had to have been repainted at some point as the inlays are usually black from the manufact.
