2004 Volvo S60R 6MT low miles!
Hey all, I'm really feenin' for a lexus again. I've been outta the game too long and need to get me another one, and that means selling my current ride. Car is as follows:
2004 Volvo S60R
2.5L intercooled I-5 T (300hp/295tq), M66 6spd Manual (one of 1930 6MTs imported in 04)
Titanium Grey Pearl over Nordkap (navy blue) leather. Will come with both navy carpeted floormats as well as factory rubber all-weather floormats.
72k impeccably maintained miles (serviced at Boston Volvo Village and originally purchased in Salem, MA. Also have the original window sticker to prove it. All manufacturer services performed up to the 60k, have not hit 75k yet). Car will come with a master key, secondary, AND a valet
4C active chassis control (comfort / sport / advanced), adjusts suspension stiffness and throttle mapping.
Power heated leather buckets (some of the most comfortable seats I've sat in) on both front seats, Rain Sensing wipers, digital climate control with intelligent front defrost, Xenon headlamps with headlamp washers (go when you spray the windshield), front fog lamps and rear fog lamp,
Dolby digital sound system w/ steering wheel controls, 4cd changer, onboard trip computer (DTE, avg MPG, inst. MPG, avg speed).
18" 'Pegasus' wheels with 235/40r18 Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tires, will probably need tires at least for the winter, but the PS2's have a few good months left in them.
330mm brakes on all 4 corners, 4 piston up front 2 piston rear made by brembo with R logo (does 60-0 in 120ft)
Aftermarket:
-TME catback exhaust (Dual 2", worth about $750 used)
-IPD 'R' ram air intake duct ($80)
-IPD poly upper engine mount bushing and brand new aluminum mount ($60)
-IPD poly lower trans torque arm ($89)
-OBX 3" catless downpipe (o2 spaced so no CEL) ($200
-SPK (Nokya) 2500K yellow foglamps ($25)
-Custom painted engine cover (high temp silver with Sonic Blue embossed 'R') ($meh)
Recent maintenance:
-Oil and filter about 300mi ago
-OEM spark plugs about 800mi ago
-Full show quality detail
As for defects, there are only a couple. For the exterior, there are a couple of dings in the passenger rear door. A few chips on the rear bumper from the previous owner, and the usual wear on the front end, though it has fared quite well for 6 years old. The driver's headlamp gets some condensation on rainy days, but can be easily resealed. The interior shows typical wear on the driver's outside bolster, typical of Nordkap. There is a small leak from the Bevel Gear (transfer case basically) which is typical of all 04 models. The case just needs to be unbolted, old gasket removed, and resealed. Some scratches on the passenger rear door glass. A little rash on a couple of the wheels. These things aren't even that serious, I'm just really picky with my cars.
The car blue books in typical condition, STOCK, for around $15k. My car is in above average condition for the year, and the aftermarket parts total up to be very valuable, I'll be conservative at around $1100. Plus the couple hundred in recent service, You'd be looking at about $17k all said and done. There are a couple around me, both 2004s, one with 94k and the other with 112k selling for 12-13k.
I'm asking $12,995 or nearest cash offer. Pretty firm on that price as I know what it's worth and how rare it is, and I feel it's a very fair price given condition/extras. I am located in 02919, RI and can take additional pics upon request. Can't do trades as I do owe on the car, but if you've got something interesting (2gs with some mods, pref. v8) and about 6500-7k cash to throw on top, we can talk. Now on to the pics!

yes, to be honest, I've been around the dealership biz a LONG time and seen a lot of cars; this is about the straightest 6 year old car I've seen yet. Aside from a couple paint chips and literally 2 door dings on the passenger side, this thing has hardly been touched.
