I'm speechless about the turnout last night. Dream come true. That's the kind of fun we had in mind when we "rebooted" the North Texas group.
And don't think of last night as a "Whew! We did it." Think of it as the beginning of a beautiful new habit.

Next goal: getting at least half of the folks who showed up last night together on an every-other-weekend basis for install days, cruises, lunches, etc.

Let's start up a thread now concerning Sunday afternoon's picture shoot.

We'll also chat, maybe in the NorthTexasLexus group area, about starting our OWN Monday night meet in lieu of the now-defunct RiceKiller weekly Monday meet.

I don't think that would go very well. He just might throw the whole ticket book at me Although, that was the nicest cop I've ever encountered so far. It was nice to finally meet you Mike. Putting faces to screen names is great.

+1 for him being extremely polite and professional.

By the way, for those of you who did not get the benefit of hearing the officer speak directly, he said that, while it's the law that you must have a plate displayed on the front of the car, you may place it on the dashboard. He also mentioned securing it for safety purposes.

Yea, I'm kinda glad I didn't go for a ride in the IS last night. I would have felt bad when he got the ticket.... lol
