Yeah, I've got my front plate on the dash whenever I'm in the Plano area. It comes off when I'm out of Plano.

Havn't had any trouble in the M.

That comes up year after year after year, and gets our hopes up, but it repeatedly gets caught up somewhere...in the committee phase I believe.

1QWKLEX, that is truly bizarre. We just got my wife's taken care of for ~$125 (I believe - I'll cerify). Soooo sad today to know that news.

Having a front license plate is still required by law. Like slooow said, it comes up year and after and is constantly shot down and not surprising, it was shot down again this year.

I will be out there this wednesday

During your tenure as a motorist, you might make a mistake and be cited for a traffic violation. Although one or two tickets during a driving career might not cause much trouble, your best bet is to keep your Texas driving record as clean as possible.

One major reason for that has to do with auto insurance. Companies determine your rate, at least in part, by what kind of a driver you are. The higher the number of tickets on your driving record, the higher your premium.

Furthermore, the State of Texas can suspend or revoke your driver's license if you rack up too many tickets, or “points.” Luckily for motorists, many states allow drivers to sign up for traffic school to reduce these points.

Let us show you how and where to pay your ticket, the penalties associated with the infractions, how to protect your driver's license, and how to maintain reasonable auto insurance rates.

if you have too many tickets, they could suspend your license and make you pay that surcharge. I've seen it happen though. One of our clients had 7 tickets under 2 yrs and was forced to pay a surcharge and carry a SR-22.

Insurance increases by $10-20 per month plus the annual surcharge payment

I would recommend switching to a company that doesn't check your motor history once you've signed up...example Allstate, Progessive, and maybe Geico. State Farm will non-renew if you have too many...
