Read up over at DI and I'm not sure I want to be a part of that kind of meet with people that are hostile and angry. count me out. If I do go, I'm going to the old spot until we get kicked out again. Likely rain in the forecast.

Yeah weird. Perhaps a few folks have gotten in such a habit of popping off and trying get the good shots in, that they've forgotten how to be congenial? Your point about rainouts is well taken and leads nicely to the need for a place where we can start out with food/drinks and/or duck inside and still meet up if there's sucky weather.

Which also leads me nicely back to a prior post I made, which I shall now strongly propose as at least a starting point for our Wednesday activities...

How about approximately 9PM/2100CDT here? The first person(s) arriving should settle in an area where we can accumulate tables and chairs as folks show up. We can eat, drink, watch sports, etc. and then decide on our next course of action(s)* from there.

You have to forgive that little group they own honda's and don't know any better.

That franchise place has a nice well it parking lot and thier food isn't terrible or overpriced. I suggested that place months back and decided not to do the leg work to set it up, I even suggested it again but due to attitudes and liabilities I decided to ditch the idea all together. A smaller meet would work there a large meet like the previous wednesday night meets would fail due to the neighbor surrounding that location and the high traffic grocery store next door.

The spring creek and 75 location is great for 99% of the idiots the frequented the wednesday night meet at coit and 190 because it's secluded and no easily accesable location for them to get trash to leave all over the parking lot. If both meets happened I would show up at franchise sports bar and grill.

Oh and for those of you *****ing the spring creek location is a whole 7 miles away from the old meet.

Haha yea its really not that big of a diff where its at. I expect more retarded antics since it is secluded. Franchise is nice though not that bad. So does that mean we are doing franchise tonight then instead of the wed night meet?

 

I love this group. Not one thing above I could disagree with. You guys rock and having Runt in the mix is icing on the cake.

(We wouldn't hate on the Hondas a bunch of us have owned them in the past & we're tight with some of the Acurazine folks. Great to hear those guys aren't harsh in person too. There are several I'd like to meet eventually.)

I'm suggesting the Franchise meet as an appetizer for our roll-in to the Wednesday night meets, whenever/wherever they are. This will be (or start out as) our small little group, so it's nothing more than customers parking their cars (together) in the lot and patronizing the Franchise Grill. Easy stuff.

Occasionally we might even be having so much fun that we end up missing the Wed night meet location, but we'll take that as it comes.

So tonight I propose we do da Franchise at 9 and then we can roll en masse from there to the Wednesday niight meet.

that's a lot when i work in bedford live at 35/121.. drive a dated IS..

7 there =14 back, IF we park and dont move from the first spot.. putting an extra 20/30miles to go to a random as "hondas + more" meet to where not everyone shows up to every time isn't worth it to me..

i'll meet up with u guys to eat, then i guess roll out there, but not going to be every week for me


oh and "legit" meet meaning rite now it's not DI ran, it's kinda just running off some honda guys.. makes less of the top dog car's come out which i rather see along side our Lex's not.. lexus,honda,lexus,another honda

It wasnt too bad. Saw Ben out there recruitin for the Stance of the Union. Other than that we went to mexico for a while and went home.
