Yes, that is something I requested - what to name the forum and how you'll refer to yourselves. I think you guys have shown the initial participation needed. Sloooow, thanks for posting up what you did around organization and focus of the group. That's really the type of discussion (and long term committment) we need to make sure happens in order to keep the group cohesive and focused and I'd encourage you to continue to chat about that topic so we don't create something that dies a few months after its created.

The specific sub-forums are not meant for a further geographical separation (even though some of them are named like that); they are to create local Lexus 'clubs' in order to better organize local participation in events, shows, charities, recommendations, etc.

I'll check back on this thread this weekend and see how this discussion has progressed (please pm me if I don't!) and look into creating the new club forum.

Here are some other things to ponder:
1) Dealer/Indy/Tuner Relations:
I know TLinderman has some ties with dealer contacts.
Others of you know the independent shops well, and others are in touch with the tuner community in North Texas.

What are ways we can let them know we're here, and organize events with them?
(hopefully aside from and/or BEFORE any members try strong-arming them for NTxL group pricing and such... )

2) North Texas Automotive Community:
I also happen to think BSC300TT's idea about organizing and enjoying other area groups is on the right track. I, for one, would LOVE to get to know our area's Supra group if they'd have us; I don't know how exclusive/segregated they are.
