I'm soon to receive some fiberglass materials for my audio/visual system that will fill the whole trunk (inside of lip/lid/whatever..included).

They are painted a really gorgeous kandy red. A great paint job.

My IS is tungsten (silver). If i keep this color; When I open my trunk (which would only be to show off the system since it renders the trunk useless in any other way) all you will see is a deep dark kandy red.

Half of me thinks "screw it, keep it" because i don't want to take off such a great paint job and also save myself some money. The other half thinks it might be best to sand and have it repainted to match my car or maybe something not so significantly different such as a dark blue pearl since the car has a lot of blue lighting.

Maybe enough opinions one way or the other will help me make my decision.

Call Jason at jp importz in Garland. He does a great job! Look up the web site and you can see the supra he runs. If you want someone who know what they are doing hes car speaks for him..You gatta at lease see hes car on the site. there are also some video of it. When he worked on my 400 he left it like new and they washed my car for when i picked it up. He also has a sc300 as a loaner.
