Ok, this Saturday(Feb 7,2009) Texas Motorplex in Ennis, TX is opening their doors for the first time this year. I'm going to be out there along with a few other friends. Some of the NTL crew are tagging along as well and a few are running their cars down the track.

UPDATED INFO! Meet time changed!
I'm going to meet at where the old Ricekiller meet used to be at around 12PM. It's in the BJ's parking lot off of highway 75 and 15th street. We'll roll out at around 12:30PM and proceed to the track as a group. There's a Walmart down the street from the track so we can stop by there and get some drinks,chips,food, etc.

Entry fee to race is $15. I think spectators its $5-10.

Post up if you're going to go, that way I can get a general idea of how big the group is going to be.

I don't have the boost yet, but I've got the suspension and brakes upgraded.
But those won't improve my quarter-mile track times.
(Wondering if I should've kept a Cooper S or the Subie until the SC is boosted for just such events?)

Edit: I misread this the first time as an open day at Texas MotorSport Ranch. I've always wanted to run on that.

Oh well, I'll go along as usual and cheer Jeff on. Is anyone else going to run the quarter mile?

Hey you've got teh boooost and teh suspension. You need to run that puppy! For a good performance baseline if nothing else.

I may go and bring my stock rims and tires to compare the times. And also run with my system since that is how I roll on a daily basis.

Sweet thats what i thought. Prob cant make this one car isnt ready anyway but if i know ahead of time on the next one i'll make it out...
