I didn't even know there was a meet in Austin, not very well advertised down here in my opinion. I read on DI the reason it is named "cupcake" is because she wanted the meets to be small, specifically around 50 cars

dang mike i was invited to that Austin one but didnt go and was going to tell you about and make you go there but then you wouldnt know anyone so i guess i forgot my bad haha

No there is quite a few of 2IS in DFW which they are pretty tastefully modded too, but they just never show up or on rare occasion you will see them.
