hi my name's Jeff. I've been lurking around the site for a while now, so I figured I'd introduce myself finally.

I've had my Lexus for like 9 months, so I've managed to do a few things to it. I'm out in Plano, so hopefully one of these days I'll be able to hang out with some fellow Lexus enthusiasts.

Thumbs up

Hello all! I just joined the club in March when I purchased a CPO Lexus IS350 from Sewell Dallas. It is MRM, with Navi and Lux pack, and I have done some very light modding so far. Hope I can make it out to some meets in the future!

What up fellas?! My name is Johnny, and I just moved out to Dallas in November. Im from the Bay Area in Cali. San Jose to be exact. A couple weeks ago I FINALLY bought the IS300 I've always wanted. Ill try and post pics soon. As of now its white, slammed, tinted out, with clear fogs. But im just excited to finally get my (realistic) dream car I've wanted since high school. Hopefully I'll see you cats at some meets out here!

Default New to the forum, not new to cars

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

I'm Dan and am originally from El Paso, Texas. I'm a 26 year old Iraq veteran who has been living in central Illinois for two years now, and am finally going back to Texas this month. I'll be finishing my degree at Texas Tech.

I've owned and rebuilt two DSMs already, and very much enjoyed them. If I had the money, I'd buy another one in a heartbeat and fix it up. Problem is, they are very unreliable. So here I am, first time Lexus owner. I own a 2006 IS250 AWD. Bought it used for 25k, with 24k miles. I now have 50k miles.

I'm looking into things I can do to the car, but I also do not want to really decrease the trade in value. I love the car and plan on keeping it for as long as possible, but you never know.

What can I do to it that won't decrease the trade in value? I even have held off on installing a sound system just because I'm afraid the value will drop dramatically..

Anyway, I look forward to hearing from you guys, and even meeting some.

Thanks,
Dan

Well, best bet for you then either don't do anything to it or what I use to do alot with prior cars. Do all reversable mods and keep all stock parts you take off. Then you, 1) have everything to go back to stock 2) sell all the aftermarket parts on here and get money back. Almost like leasing the parts with a nice return at the end

oh yeah and welcome also thank you for serving our country.

Wheels and suspension because you can always take those off when you decide to sell. Easiest but not always the cheapest.
