I live in Rockwall and have an '04 ES330 I purchased in June. I would love to connect with some other people in DFW. Sometimes I have some auto knowledge to share, and sometimes I learn something new - either way, I like to grab a drink and talk shop.
I moved here from Chicago and just got rid of a GM I built and replaced two motors on, so I'm happy to have a luxury car I don't have to wrench on. I was a mechanic in my previous life, but only do it for recreational purposes now.
Anyone in the area - feel free to reach out!
By the way, my name is Blake. I forgot to add my name. Way to introduce yourself properly, Blake. Sheesh.
I'm also from the Rockwall / Royse City Area. I have a silver 08 IS350. (it looks like a 12)
Welcome to the area and forums.
Steve.
My name is Aaron. I'm a 17 year old high school student, doing what many of you do, working a ton so I can put money into the car. I currently have a 1994 SC400. It needs a lot of suspension work but my goodness to do I love this car. It's such a nice car and has so much potential. I can't wait to start getting to some meets or seeing some of y'all at Cars and Coffee!

Her first trip (of many) to AutoZone
Did you put the scoop on there, or did you buy it like that?
hello, my name is frank and having some serious problems with my SC in North Texas. Strong idle, mild hesistation when gas pedal is pushed, then it dies, turn the key and enjine cranks but wont start. it may start if i give it gas but usually it takes about an hour for it to turn back on. ive waited 30 minutes and tried it but nothing. took it to a master lexus specialist in haslet but no codes = a guessing game. i replaced the mass airflow sensor but nothing but the same. any ideas would be helpful.
Lots of fuel/idle issues with my 93 sc300. Did the fuel pump ecu bypass via engine bay diagnostic with a paper lip to fp/b ports. Once I pulled the very hot paperclip the car immediately died. What does this mean: bad fuel pump or bad fuel pump ecu??????
