Spirited Sunday afternoon drive 4/5/09
The S2K guys are putting together a cruise this Sunday. They're meeting up in Denton off 35. I'm gonna head out there for the fun. Anyone else wanna roll out there with me? Here's a link to their thread.

If you haven't seen the windmills it is a sight to see. This route has many long sweepers and breathtaking views not normally associated with North Texas. We will get to drive near the Red River where there is light to no traffic. When there is traffic, the locals generally heed and pull over to let the group pass. Larger groups can be held very easily. There are 3 stop signs and 2 stoplights on this drive so that nobody should get separated. This is a very common route for motorcycle and other sports car clubs to have an event.
There are some fine German Style places to eat in Muenster. Rohmers is a great place to eat and also The Center is a great option.

Until the SC gets the GTE, they're equally fun to drive now.
Do you guys have radios to use and communicate during the drive? They really can improve the experience, especially if they have voice activation and you don't have to hold them. We got real familiar with their use during the frequent MetroplexMINI runs on the backroad twities.

Looks like we're gonna be meeting up at the Toys R Us in Lewisville, which is across the hwy from Ridgemar Mall at 230pm, leave there at 300pm to meet up with the S2K guys in Denton who are putting the cruise together. Bring your walkie talkies if you have them.

Good deal Tom. Im in and so is my buddy in the z06 still haven heard back from my friend with the evo im sure he is in as well though. We will meet up with you at 2:30. Again thanks for the info, this would have been horrible to miss.

If you have walkie talkies... PLEASE bring them. If not, its not a biggie. On these roads there are no stoplights to separate us.
Looks like a pretty good sized meet everybody is welcome to join!

yea that guy on the s2k forum is my buddy. We are extending the invite to some friends. The evo is in as well. looks like alot of fun. most of my guys are coming from the rockwall area so I guess we will meet up and cruise out to meet up with you guys at ToysRus then have a nice following to the s2k meet up. If you dont mind could you pm me your number incase something changes on sunday.
