Well since Jeff's car is running now we are thinking about hitting up Dallas raceway this Sunday. It's the day right after cupcake meet. For those of you that don't know Dallas raceway is the new quarter track in the Dallas area to be specific Crandall. Last time we went we pretty much hot lapped the track. As I recall it was 20 to run and 10 or 15 to spectate. The times they open that day are 5-10pm. Should be nicer since the track will be a little cooler. The schedule and locations will be posted below. We are thinkin about pre meeting just in case for those that never been there before.

I'm gona be out there running my 13 sec quarter mile time with 125mph+ traps lol! Turbo lag is a beech!

 

Ehh car is still broke so no funz for me sucks cuz i could actually make this one. How did jeff fix it cuz i know he got same prob i have?

 

Third gear sprag. The OEM sprag is in but he cannot full power it or it WILL shatter again lol. But rode in the car the other night and it has pulled stronger it has ever had. He will lose some time on that third gear shift but I would say mid 12 if not faster this time if he runs.

 

I just noticed my fail with the title...its a MEET not an EVENT...damn lol.

 

DOes he have an extra one laying around he can slap in? I'll buy him a new one i wanna go!! lol.

 

He might give hime a call. Oh yea I forgot to add he messed up his orings but he fixed that also.

Werd...SHouldnt take us long anyway. I mean trans in and out shouldnt take but a few hours lol dissassembly and reassembly (hoping everything is good) another hour or so then back on the car lol.

 

It took me almost one day of non stop work to do it on my car. Includes pulling the trans, rebuild trans, and reinstalling the trans back into the car.

 

Well with the great nelson and me doing wtvr i can to help it should only take a few hours haha. We gotta represent the turbo lex at the track me, you and tom show the slow domestics how its done lol.

 

lol...well it depends though...if its a sprag issue easy just change but usually if your going that deep into a trans you might s well rebuild it lol. We can put it in but if something else is messed up that will take more time. The sprag is no issue its just the surrounding parts. Thats the issue we do not know if the are worn to hell and so on.

 

Tru but it was running fine before it went out so hopefully its something simple. We'll see cross your fingers lol.
