Default Ipod Control Solution For OEM Stereo 1st-Gen IS300
saw this thread on myIS and thought it'd be sweet to have this done since i probably wont change out the HU anytime soon.

i heard those are pretty good but i have never used one myself, but its nice since it integrates with the stock headunit i was going to get one a while back but never did haha

im thinking about getting one, so when i get teh money i'll hook up it (might need some help) and let you guys know how it goes. might cahnge the front speakers while im at it, idk we'll see.

dont you just hook it up to your stock headunit? and pull the wire somewhere and plug in your iPod? or is there something else that needs to be done

well looks like people are still having probs with the GROM, so i may jsut get the SL2i verison.

it may be couple hundred dollars more, but but it works better than why not.

yeah the VAIS one is one of the best i heard i wonder if it charges the iPhone that would be cool

well the SL2i-UP supports the iPhone 3g (8GB and 16GB) and unde rhte features it says it charges iPod so i would assume it does, when i buy it and install it we'll have to try it out.
