Default new to CL - appreciate advice from DFW lexus owners

hello everyone!

I have actually been reading and reviewing 3G forum for about a year and learning as much as I can. I am looking to purchase a GS 350RWD possibly at end of the year. We live in Fort Worth and my wife has the RX350 which we purchased from Sewell FW; we were very happy with the salesman. We have not had any issues service wise except for the prices charged for regular maintenance

I am wanting a white GS 350RWD w/o any options. My plans are to get Vossen Wheels either the 082's or 083's, lowered on NF210's, and aftermarket tinting. I have my own garmin so it doesn't make sense to pay for nav and unless the ML audio is going to be somewhat cost effective I don't think I will try that option. Once my wife gets over the cash I had to pay for my upgrades I'll be looking at getting the Medallion exhaust!!

I have searched the forums for what CL members are paying for new GS 350RWD and I have only been able to get one thread. One guy was offered in SoCal 43,000 out the door so the car was about 41 if i remember correctly after he negotiated...

1. Would it be lowballing to ask for 39000 for a no options GS350?

2. Any opinions regarding purchasing or negotiating between Sewell FW and/or Dallas?

3. Once I get the car I will be looking for a reputable place to mount the wheels and get the tint. Any places you recommend perhaps in the FW or Arlington area? I don't mind the drive to Dallas if it means quality work!

4. Does it really make a difference to purchase cars in December or January in terms of price?

5. Lastly, any DFW people with Vossen's?

I sure appreciate all your help in advance. I have seen the NTL website with all the photos it seems you have a good time at these meets. I would love to attend one day once I get my GS

Personally, I would go with Sewell. Their service is spectacular! Park Place is closer to where I live though..

thanks for the replies, what would you drop as an asking price for a GS350 w/o options?

Sewell has great people. For pricing I would go to edmunds or cars.com and you can pick and choose what you want and see what the invoice price is. I paid invoice my 250 last March.
