I'd like everyone to chime in with your opinions. My team is planning to throw a car show for the community sometime next year, and we'd like to have some input on what you'd like to see and what you wouldn't like to see as spectators. Please don't be afraid to voice your opinion. I'd specifically like the younger crowd to chime in (under 21) with your thoughts, so I can make this the best local car show possible.

Also what would participants in a car show like that isn't currently available?

lmfao, well first thing that popped up in my head when i hear car show is .. well .. female model's !

can u tell i'm under 21? ^^

lol on the real note, races (a car show at a closed area or even better a 1320?) it's one thing seeing a x00hp car PARKED but being able to see some running would forsure be a plus and bring in more ppl / different cars.

2. prizes (free or contest won) would be something i'd expect at a car show (of course im not talking something like Give aways rims but something small like shirts or posters (u can never get enough posters!!)

3. some food/drinks would keep the crowd focused on the show and not "what's around here to eat?" type thing, maybe get someone to help sell the food.. instead of GIVing away free food, maybe taking donations as payments?

(combine something like pay $10 get food/drink/shirt/poster ?!?! hehe)

Response to the race at a show thing. You gotta realize that most of these guys(95%+) build the hell out of their cars for show specifically. They aren't actually going to run the car down the strip even if it has a 1000hp engine. Me on the other hand...I'm game lol

ya most show cars are trailer queens which is cool of thats your thing seems like a waste imo. Eventually i'll get mine "show" worth\y but i'll still run the **** out of it. Far as what i want at a show umm hot girls and free stuff.

yea, what i was thinking of when i wrote it was that meet in kennedale raceway was a show/ 1/8th mile runs

turned out big and was fun to go to, i didn't know where to go, walk around or watch the runs lol
