my cousin wanna buy something for my car. im about to change the stock catalytic converter to magnaflow catalytic converter or topspeed. i dont know which one is the best, and is this a good idea to change the catalytic converter? does it make more power or anything?...btw i cant find out any topspeed catalytic converter, so i cant figue out the quality of them!! help me!! thanks

this is on a sc300 right. which has 2 right. magnaflow is a good brand you can if them cheep on ebay. you might need 2, if nothing is wrong with the stock ones them leave them alone. your not really gonna see any performance gains w/just changing the cat or cats. do you have a cat back exhaust system, if not, really not gonna feel anything. the ones your gonna find on ebay are universal, the ones on your car are welded to the manifolds i think. gonna take some fabing to make univeral's fit. good luck.

i have Magnaflow catback..i dont wanna go with turbo, so i may do something make my car more stronger. headers and cat are what im interested in.

If you can find a stock header from a 98-00 sc300, that might be cheeper than buying a aftermarket header, pretty sure it will bolt up, the stock cat's on those flow just as good as a magnaflow cat, might be easy bolt up with alittle welding to match you catback. Im not sure it the O2 sensor's are the same.
