Cheap place to get bulbs changed?
I just noticed 2 days ago that my passenger side, rear side marker is burnt out as well. In the past month, I've had 3 bulbs go out:
1 fog light
1 parking light
1 side marker
Need suggestions on somewhere around DFW that won't charge me the $150 the dealership quoted me. Any one know???

Hey man I'm all for DIY projects, but accessing the fog light or side marker requires removing the front and back bumper. You ever try changing out the fog light bulb in your sc400 without using a lift or removing the bumper? Its going to be the most annoying 3 hours of your life.

I ended up doing the bulbs for him. The foglight design on the SC430 is just straight up retarded lol. I tried really hard to swap the bulbs with the bumper on the car. I managed to remove both bulbs after 30mins of fighting the bumper, but then realized that there was no way I could put the new bulbs in without pulling the bumper off lol. The SC430 uses H3 bulbs enclosed in a casing, not the simpler 9006 type foglights that just twist right off. I gave up after 45 minutes and pulled off the bumper. Luckily it only takes about 10 mins to remove the bumper in a SC430. If I started off from the beginning and pulled the bumper, the whole job could of been finished in 30 mins. Rear sidemarker lights required the bumper to be pulled open slightly, but the bumper did not have to be completely removed from the car.

Yes, Jeff did an awesome job! I tried to warn everyone, the fog lights were a pain in the old SC and I figured as much for the new SC. I don't know the first thing about pulling off bumpers and whatnot, so Jeff really came through for me.
Now I'm gettin my shine on!

Polished headlights still holding up good I assume? Remember to keep a good coat of wax to keep them shiny for a longer period of time. They will need polishing periodically because the headlights are aged. When headlights are new, they have a UV hardcoat, similar to clearcoat on paint. Over time, the plastic cover will lose that coating, and then it starts to get that hazy look. There is more upkeep to keep the headlight covers clear once the coating is worn off.
