I also posted this in the 1st gen RX forum:
I was wondering if anyone knew of a good place in Fort Worth, TX to get our 2003 RX300 serviced (water pump, drive belts, timing belt).
I called Sewell and they quoted $1460 and Toyota won't do it. In AZ the same service cost $1100 through Lexus of Chandler.
Has anyone gotten their Lexus serviced at a reputable (non-dealer) shop in or around Fort Worth?
Thanks.

I haven't went there, but you can give them a call for a quote. They say they have 3 master technicians that have 10+ years Lexus dealership experience...

I'm taking the RX in this Thursday. Thanks for the info. He seems like a nice, knowledgeable guy. Prices are very reasonable too. I'll post and tell you guys how my experience was.

Dropped it off this morning:
Nice guys
Pretty nice waiting area
4 bays:
1 RX 330
1 SC 400
1 Toyota Tundra
1 LS 400
and there was an ES 300 in the parking lot.
They'll be doing the timing belt, drive belts, water pump, and front engine seals and said I'll most likely be able to pick it up around 5:30-6pm!
Additional Pros: Open at 7:30am and close at 6:30pm.

Overall it was a very good experience at Pratt Auto. He seemed to know his stuff and was reall nice. Just about every model of Lexus was in the parking lot at some point during my two trips out there. He was dead on for pick up time and cost.

Some random bearing that went with the timing belt change
Water pump
Pink coolant
Camshaft seal
Crankshaft seal
Coolant drain seal
AC-alt drive belt
P/S drive belt

Sewell Lexus quoted $1460 for just the water pump, drive belts, and timing belt (no seals).
