Default gdoutlex AC vac/recharge

just wondering if any1 knows a good place to get this done with reasonable price ofcourse?

Yeah I'm pretty sure Jeff can do it, but from Arlington to Jeff's place is a haul and a half away for you.

well it was suggested to get a fan shroud first and see if it helps since right now it doesnt have one.



ANY1 HAVE A FAN SHROUD LAYING AROUND?

Does the ac get a lot colder when the car is moving? If not, then the fan shroud probably isn't the problem. Also, I can only do R134a cars, no R12.

yea it gets pretty cold, when i have it on idle the ac compressor would kick in for like a few sec then turns off. so i think it might be the fan shroud then. ill see

so its hitting the low pressure switch limit? Hi pressure sw limit ? have you put gauges on it ?
more freon would help if its low? Less if its high, and yes fan shroud if its high.

Why do you need it VAc'ed out ?

Is this a R-12 set up ?

i ordered a fan shroud last week and it should be here by wed so ill start with that.

It's R134, and the fan shroud was broken on the car when I had it so I took it off cause it would hit the fan and I didn't want to mess up the fan so I took it off!
