need a shop for control arm bushings replacement

Exclamation need a shop for control arm bushings replacement

need a reputable shop to replace my control arms bushings with daizen..called a shop and they quoted me 900 out the door with alignment..is that high?

Hell yea thats high. Boy you know I can do this for you. Ill just have to do it @ my boys house, cause I live in a apt now.

yeah that works man! im gonna get the 200 bucks one with the new outer steel shells.. how much to install? and being that i've been driving on it this long with the left arm missing this bushing, could it have damaged something?

you still go out to the meets every tues?

Probably no damage. the bushing is still there is just busted. Ive driven with busted bushing for a while b4. I do go to the meets but not till i get off work @ midnight. Ill pm you the price.

Are you still looking for someone to press those bearings out for you. I work at a shop in grapevine and i can definetly beat 900 bucks plus alignment...lol Thats a joke man way too much.

Actually $900 is about right from a shop. Some shops wont even change the bushings, they'll only do a full control arm replacement and thats even more expensive. Its just a PITA removing the old bushings. Just make sure you have a hydraulic press and a torch.

Steering rack bushings are fun in the driveway...Just sayin. Other than that its pretty straight forward.

I need the steering rack bushing and lca bushings replaced on the turbo. Guess mine will be th enext to be smoldering haha
