Default Stock IS300 alarm

So my alarm has recently been going off at random times. I was searching google to see if it could tell me why it was doing this and everywhere i look it says its prolly because of the battery in the key. Im wondering if its something else tho because the battery is fairly new.

About a year ago my car was hit from the front. The lady ran an SUV into my front bumper and it caused my hood to torque up about 1/2 an inch on the drivers side. is there a hood alarm sensor there? this random alarm thingy didnt happen until I lifted my hood to put oil in it. Obviously ill play around with my hood after work today but if there is a sensor maybe it would be worth checking it out aswell.

Thanks

Yes their is a sensor. If you lock your car and have your windows down and pop your hood. The alarm will go off.
