I took mine to 3 piece wheel repair. They do great work, but are far as hell from me.
Also they aren't located at that spot that is posted on their website.. They're located off Monroe Dr in Dallas.. It's not to far off from where they were originally. Monroe Dr right off Walnut Hill off I-35.

Ok guys well I decided to have the lips machined not polished. This is the situation. Wheels America powder coats there wheels, not paint. So that being said, if I decided to have them fix the bent wheel & the curb rash, then they could get my wheels (close) to the same color but, not exactly the same. So at that point they could machine the lips & not touch the center of the wheel, which leaves the original color. Now also the clear coat that they use is also powder coat. Because of baking of the powder coat, they cant just tape off the center of the wheel or are not willing to, and just powder coat the lips. So that meens they will machine the lips & then clear the whole wheel, which will change the finish/color of the wheel just slightly. I dropped them off today & they said they will be ready tomorrow. So I will post up some pics in the next couple of days. I want to get a really good camera to do this, so you guys can see exactly how they turned out. I really hope I like them.

WIsh I had seen some "before" pics.
I was told that it is illegal to remove chrome in the state of TX and that a wheel shop would have to send them to a state that can....and then have them repaired, and then powder coated. Anyone have any comments on this? I this indeed true that I cannot get chrome removed locally?

^^^^^ Well my wheels were not chrome on the lips, they were painted. I just had them machine the lips. Ive never heard of what you are talking about. Are your wheel all chrome. Id say have them sand or beed blasted then fixed. If its just the lips maybe they can just machine the chrome off them.
