Texas license plates...optional*?
Epic fail. Obviously, they will ammend this before long, but still:

Epic fail or not, I'm happy I can stop getting ticketed for it. Zip tieing the plate to the lower grill to wave the penalty and going to the court house was too much work... Haha
And doesn't sound like it will get ammended until 2013, but either way I will never run a front plate!!

I've always hated the look of front plates on some cars; ruins the body line with odd shaped brackets sometimes :/
Have you never been interested in just sticking the plate in the dash?

Putting it in the dash is still illegal in Texas. The pre-epic fail law was that the front license plate must be attached to the front bumper. And I wouldn't want an ugly license plate up on my dash, I feel like that is for a different crowd of people...
