If you don't mind driving a bit up north of NY, the Lexus service dealership (in Greenwich, CT, just a stone's throw away from the NY/CT border) is very good with their service dept. I've brought my car there one time for an emissions fix, I negotiated the price of the repair and they agreed (to my surprise)
, and the quality of their customer service and loaners is top-notch. Plus, their service business hours extend to 11PM during the work week (a rare feature in a Lexus dealership).
From the many times I've gone to Greenwich for parts purchases and Lexus-related questions and issues, I've also formed good relations with a couple service consultants, a body shop manager, and a parts manager. This is certainly useful to have on hand as reference to other people looking to get quality service out of their Lexus

I have a friend that works at a lexus dealer in ocean county as a mechanic - Ray Catena i believe. he did a lot of work for me (outside the dealer) at a pretty good price. He gets parts at cost too, which is great. You can pm me if you want his #.

Bought the LS430 and LX up there and only use them for service. Every other dealership seems sub-par in comparison.

I need a good reference for a body shop.
My IS250 got clipped by a truck so I'm looking at new hood, bumper, fender and some parts.
The car is driveable but somethings touching and clicks when i made a turn so I don't want to drive unless it's really closeby.
I've heard about http://broadway-performance.com/service.htm but I haven't had time to check them out.
Thanks in advanced.
