Thumbs up

That was a great event by Lexus...... Very nice setup, nice cars, and food.

Cadd,
LOL....i saw u when u passed by me then i realized who u were, also saw One HoT SC400 there......We could of had a CL meet there.

I was very impressed with the 545i in terms of handling and engine, IMO it was the best handling car there......too bad its an ugly car though. BTW it had a Flat Tire Warning displayed when i drove it, gotta love BMW electronics.

The E500 really really impressed me! The 545i handled great! I love the way the 330i handled the most. So nimble and so much feed back.

The X5 & the Range Rover HSE's downhill auto braking system is awesome.

The worst car out there is the Jag XK8. That steering wheel is all over the place. You can turn it with your left pinky! I tried driving it hard, but after a few turns, I got scared, I had NO IDEA which way the front tires are pointing.

I attended on 9/12. My family raved! We had fun driving the cars, the food was good and the people were nice. Wish the sports car test drive was longer. The sedan test drive got messed up if there was a real slow driver holding up the line! I ended up avoiding a certain driver who must have tried every car!
Hope all of you enjoyed the event as much!

745's interior looked like a cockpit.

In the sedan test drive, we would let the car in front of us get some distance then start driving. That gave us some distance to open it up and play catch up.

Although I didn't go to the Lexus event, I've driven the 745 before (at a BMW-related event). I too felt the same way about the interior. So many controls and buttons that it literally took me 10 min before I could put the gear shifter to 'D' and be on the road
