i was just out in it a little while ago. came from central joizee to northern jersey. saw
three accidents before i got to the Driscol bridge. one was an SUV. lol, people sometimes
think they can drive like fools just because they own an SUV.
i saw an accident on the upside of the southbound lane. looked like it may have been
a Mitsubishi facing the wrong way accross two lanes. i bet that boy lost a load when
that happened. luckily it looked like no damage.

if you're heading out take it slow and be smart about it an put some weight in your trunk
so you can get some grab on the roadway - or snow/ice as the case may be.
good luck folks.

I was out when it first started snowing. I was driving my CR-V. Didn't want to take a chance of being stuck with a few inches on the ground with the GS.

Well, the plows are beginning to come around.....but when I was out, there weren't any plows. I found a nice empty large parking lot (for those who know Bklyn, it was Lafayette HS's parking lot). And man, I had a ton of fun. I wished it was the GS though.......

Anyway, be safe out there everyone.

i was out in my sc430 for first time in the snow today as it started to come down heavy. traction was pretty good but the wipers were just awful in that ice formed on them within minutes. is this typical of this model?

i don't know if the sc is like the gs, but what i do is turn up the defrost and flip the roof.
it keeps the windsheild hot so no ice forms and sends the really hot stuff out the roof.
wipers stay nice and clear of ice.

I drove back home from New Britain CT late yesterday afternoon, and all along I-84 there was just only one completely plowed lane on the highway (normally there are 2-3 lanes open each way). Most cars drove about an avg of 35-40 mph on that one plowed lane, but thanks to my trustworthy FWD Lex (+ weight in the trunk + my many yrs of winter driving experience), I was able to pass all the cars safely, extend the travel time by only 15 min, and get back home in one piece

Boys if you knew what the last 2 days have been like for me

yesterday i wake up at 3:45 Am to take my mother to the airport

it started to snow in Maryland around 9:20 am i

if any of you guys know Maryland isn't too too far but its not right next door either

i thought i could possibly beat the storm but no way i was stuck in the worst of it

the whole way home saw like 8 accidents one actualy happened right in front of me

lady in a Montero spun out doing around 65mph right into the divider ouch !!!

anyway some of you know what i do (in case you dont i work for the department of public works)

the second i got home i had to start plowing (got home around 2:30 ) and have been awake

ever since

btw the i rented a chevy surburban...not too bad of a ride ..didnt want you guys to think i did this

in my Lexus

all in all not so bad i was making $68 an hour double time for sunday and time and half for

Saturday

just had to vent

Oh and i Had a Resident threaten to kill me ...but with power of the CB radio and the Police

that was quicky squashed fcuke

i know i left ***** out like the amount of cowboy killers i smoked i smoked to stay awake and the amount of manholes i hit
